CenturionTM Deck-Top is for those unique applications where you need a good corrosion resistant solid surface fiberglass grating, or rust resistant, material which needs to support pedestrian traffic and where flow of air or particulates needs to be restricted or prevented. This could simply be for the purpose of keeping tools or other parts from falling through the grating to the level below.
The surface is finished with an embedded grit for slip resistance. The plate itself can be from 1/8” thick to ½” thick and can be molded to any of our molded fiberglass grating patterns in all resins and composites.
The CenturionTM Deck-Top is stocked in 1/8” thick plate and molded to 1.5” x 1.5” x 1.5” thick grating. Other configurations or panel sizes are available on special order.
There is a significant improvement in deflection characteristics imparted by the plate and grating combination. This will depend entirely on the thickness of the grating and the thickness of the plate.
