CenturionTM Grit Plate is a solid fiberglass panel in thicknesses of 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" in 4' x 8' panel sizes. Typically the grit plate is used over existing flooring to impart slip resistance to a worn or oil embedded flooring material. It is also used in 1/2" thick configuration as solid flooring with supports on 18"- 24" spans.
The surface is finished with an embedded grit surface for slip resistance. The plate itself can be from 1/4” thick to ½” thick.
The major usage for CenturionTM Loose Grit Plate is for slip resistance in wet and oily areas or where processes left the flooring slippery with other process residues, such as food preparation areas.
CenturionTM Loose Grit Plate is available in any of our standard resin systems, including the USDA certified composite.
