Our most popular non-slip surface for the fiberglass grating is the embedded grit surface. This is a uniform depth of grit embedded into the surface of the grating 1/8" - 1/4" deep into the wet laminate of the CenturionTM brand of molded fiberglass grating. The grit imparts an aggressive surface for slip resistance, and also adds wear resistance without reducing the glass content to give greater durability to the surface as well as to the grating itself.
